Join us on May 8th for is year's CAIT Research Showcase, featuring lightning talks from faculty recipients of CAIT Research Awards and PhD fellowships.

This year, we're excited to host a panel on AI and Human Values, moderated by Dean Shih-Fu Chang.

Lightning Talks

Each year, with support from Amazon, CAIT provides research project awards to Columbia faculty research teams, and Doctoral Fellowships to outstanding Columbia Engineering PhD students. Hear about each researcher's work in a series of short talks.

Panel: Human-AI Collaboration

Since generative AI exploded into the public eye in early 2023, it's changed the way we think about technology's role in our lives. This year's CAIT Showcase panel build's on last year's discussion of emerging possibilities and challenges in generative AI, with a deep dive into how we interact with these technologies and what they mean for our values.
